A new ten-year framework agreement has been signed between FMV and Saab regarding central system support for the Swedish army’s tactical command support system, LSS Mark. The assignment will mainly be carried out by Saab’s subsidiary Combitech.
The agreement has a total value of approximately SEK 1.2 billion over the ten-year period, and includes services and technical support for the Swedish Army’s digital infrastructure for command support. Combitech will lead a large part of the work from several different locations in Sweden.
– Being part of the Swedish Army’s digital transformation journey is a great privilege and responsibility. Our part of the delivery to LSS Mark will continue to strengthen the Swedish Army’s leadership ability for many years to come, says Mikael Krusenberg, head of Combitech’s division Security solutions in a press release.
LSS Mark is the combined system of systems that enable combat units, within the mobile ground units of all combat forces, to be led in the field from division commander to soldier.
– Working at Combitech means that you are involved in developing Sweden’s resilience. This agreement is a good example of that. I’m proud to see the difference we make by contributing to a smarter and more resilient society, and I’m keen to get even more employees involved in that work, says Combitech CEO Jessica Öberg.
