SJ is now releasing its train tickets for travel until September 1. Meanwhile, stage two of the new booking system is rolling out, with positive reviews from the start.

Recently, stage one of SJ’s new booking system started, with tickets available for June 4-16 and now tickets are released for the rest of the summer until September 1.

The increased interest in traveling with SJ during the summer months is expected to continue, and the new booking system is adapted to the company’s digitization.

In stage two, most trips will be sold in the new system, while short-term trips will continue to be sold in the old system.

– I am very happy that we are now moving forward with the second stage of the launch of the new booking system and for the positive feedback we have received so far. Now we look forward to the opportunities that the new system provides, says Monica Lingegård, president and CEO of SJ.

The old system is used in parallel until June 3. SJ’s new ticket booking system, S3 Passenger from the Dutch company Sqills, is cloud-based and used by several other major players such as SNCF and Eurostar. This system change is part of SJ’s digitization strategy and enables the development of new services and functions.
