The award ceremony took place on April 25 at Nordbygg by night, where all three finalists were presented on stage. The other two finalists were Therese Lindström, office and personnel manager/wood worker, Johannishus Bygg and Susanne Hallberg, regional manager at Peab Norra Norrland.

The jury’s motivation for Alice Olsson, Construction Woman of the Year 2024:

“That the Construction Woman of the Year 2024 is passionate about her profession and her industry is something that shines through in everything she does. Alice embodies the expression “team before self”, as she always supports and is there for people around her, whether it’s newly hired apprentices or others in her vicinity.

The construction woman of the year also shows all the fantastic development opportunities that exist in the construction industry. She has a will to change, develop and challenge an industry where there is still much to do.

We hope that our award will make the Construction Woman of the Year continue to be a positive force with a single direction: forward. We know the future is hers.”
