Dennis: Hi, thanks for a great chat! I am trying to build a long-term portfolio with a 10-20 year savings horizon. What sectors do you recommend to look at, any interesting stocks that could do well in the next 10 years?
Marcus Hernhag: Hello! I believe in green companies with a political tailwind, such as Beijer Ref. It is clearly better than those with political risks, such as wind power. Health companies such as Astra Zeneca and Novo Nordisk are worth buying in flashbacks or even long-term. The health trend will continue due to an aging population. Finding the right investments in IT is also important, but I would be a bit cautious with funds that are heavily invested in US technology giants. There are many other niches, such as the Swedish measuring technology company Hexagon.

Jonas: What do you think about the forest sector among the Finnish & Swedish companies eg UPM, Metsä, SCA or Holmen.
Marcus Hernhag: My first choice in the forest sector is SCA, as the dividend trend is most stable there. Adjusted for the spin-off of Essity, the company has only had two reductions in the ordinary dividend since 1950.

Thomas: What do you think of Electrolux after the CEO’s resignation and today’s report?
Marcus Hernhag: The bottom has probably been reached in the share, which usually fluctuates strongly depending on the economy. Nothing I would want to take a chance on anyway, as consumers will probably be under pressure for a while longer.

Håkan: Hi Marcus. Through an inheritance I have been given the opportunity to invest SEK 2m, do you have any suggestions for a 5-10 year savings horizon?
Marcus Hernhag: Hello! Keep the risks down with investment companies and shares with reasonably high dividend yields, say 3-6 percent. The important thing is that you find a stock strategy and risk level that suits you, so that you don’t lose hope and sell at a loss if it goes down after you started buying.

Shoulder: Which of these do you believe the most? Creades AB A, Latour, Bure and why Can the combo of all 3 be good if you think small companies will rise soon?
Marcus Hernhag: It sounds like a good combo against growth companies and slightly smaller companies, even if Latour has received a high valuation now.

Ray: Hello Thinking of investing in VVN Global o Creades do you think the timing is good, long term investment.
Marcus Hernhag: Hello! VNV are a bit difficult, even if the share has probably bottomed out in the long term. High risk but also great opportunities. On the other hand, Creades has a more affordable risk and I like that, both the large listed holding Avanza and their other portfolio. Two good investment companies for those who want growth stocks.

Matthias: Hello! What is your view on Realty Income now? Lies back there a little. I like the monthly dividend.
Marcus Hernhag: Hello! Still a perfectly fine base stock in real estate in the US.

Eric: Hello! How do you see Brookfield Infrastructure in the long term from these levels? The brain says buy as it should give a few percent above risk-free interest. But my stomach says no due to historical course trends. Do you want to buy?
Marcus Hernhag: Hello! Seen over many years, the rate development is good, the ticker BIP.un on the Toronto stock exchange shows the rate in the long term. We can only buy BIPC which is the same company with structured as a joint stock company, there the history in the graphs is shorter because it is a new creation. As long as the company can do good business and sell at a profit, they can continue to distribute, read more in my column from last fall about companies where I think the blanks are wrong.

Thomas: Warren Buffett’s Berkshire has about half of the portfolio in Apple. Apple stands and falls with the iPhone. Problems in China, high risk of competitors pricing in etc. Is Berkshire really worth investing in with the huge risk?
Marcus Hernhag: Apple seems to have high moats around its phones thanks to all the apps and branding. The risk is probably only moderate. However, it is important to keep an eye on political developments in China, whether things get worse or better for Western companies.

Lasse: Lowering target price for X but still recommending buy?!
Marcus Hernhag: If banks do so, it is because the share price has fallen, so that even with a lowered target price, it is a good bit up to the target price and thus a buying position. It is my opinion that the target prices set by the banks lag behind the share price and are adjusted to it, more than the company’s real development and conditions in the long term.

John: Hi, read Saab’s report looks good, has the stock become too expensive?
Marcus Hernhag: Hello! In any case, it is such a high valuation that it is healthy to have a break in the rise. Not even SAAB can just go up all the time. Now the company is growing into the valuation suit for some time. Then we will see if there is power for more growth or not.

Reewq: Hello! What do you think of Astor? The targeted new issue was heavily oversubscribed and the share has now fallen well below SEK 20.
Marcus Hernhag: Hello! Astor is a good chance stock, but I dare not say anything about the timing. It was one of my defense industry favorites in the analysis last winter.

Wind: Hi Marcus. What are your thoughts on Handelsbanken?
Marcus Hernhag: Hello! Not only are the long-term growth conditions a bit low, now costs are increasing in the short term as well. SHB may rebound in the near term, but SEB now remains my choice among the big banks.

Soren: Time to increase in Telia?
Marcus Hernhag: Well, it’s never time for the long term in Telia, is it?
