Evanoff Food is recalling Taylors & Jones Delikateskorv with Västerbotten cheese & Ramslök 200 g, after a customer found an “unknown object” in the sausage, the Swedish Food Agency announces.

The recall is described as a precautionary measure.

“Of course, we take the incident very seriously. Our customers and consumers must be able to safely eat the products we provide. Therefore, we are immediately recalling the affected batch from the market as a precautionary measure. Actions have already been taken by our Swedish producer to ensure that this cannot happen again,” says Ken Nygren, responsible for market and assortment at Evanoff Group.

The recall only applies to products with a best before date: 2024-05-05 and batch number: 240405667.

The person who bought the product is asked to advertise the product or return it to the store where it was purchased.
