Dolph Lundgren is in South Africa to record the TV series “The witcher”, he reveals in an interview with Aftonbladet.
According to several American media, a spin-off series to be shown before the third season of “The witcher” is being filmed in South Africa right now. The spin-off series will follow a group of young villains, “Rats”, who appear in the “Witcher” universe.
It is speculated that Dolph Lundgren’s role could be the bounty hunter Leo Bonhart – if so, he will probably also appear in future seasons of the main series.
“The witcher” is based on a Polish book series, which has also given rise to a well-known video game. The upcoming third season will star Henry Cavill, but he will leave the series and be replaced by Liam Hemsworth in season four.
Dolph Lundgren recently revealed that he has had lung cancer since 2015, but is now on the road to recovery.
