Around 300 guests made their way to Vadstena Castle to attend the wedding of Martin “E-type” Eriksson, 58, and Melinda Jacobs, 39, this weekend.

One of them was Carola Häggkvist, 57.

On Instagram, the artist has published two posts where she talks about the wedding.

“All of us who are here tonight stand with you and are so happily hopeful and happy for your love! That everything is possible! Hear how you met, about courage, broken hearts, dreams and children,” Carola writes to a slide show with several pictures and videos from the wedding party and the wedding in Vadstena church.

Sat next to the prime minister

In another post, Carola Häggkvist talks about the people she had at the table during dinner at Vadstena Castle.

“Had the pleasure of having the Prime Minister himself as master of the table at Martin and Melinda’s stately wedding dinner. We had many things to talk about Ulf & I. Music, faith, touring and politics, the state of the world,” she writes to another slideshow from the wedding.

Also sitting at the table were Melinda Jacob’s father and E-type’s uncle and his wife.

“Oh, how alike they were. Martin whom I have seen since I was 13 years old on the 12th grade tram in Bromma. What an honor to be invited and attend Melinda and Martin’s fairytale wedding!”, continues Carola Häggkvist.
