Arrest places in southern Sweden are to be released before the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. This is so that the police can handle situations where a large number of people are arrested or taken into custody, reports Göteborgs-Posten.

The world today has reported in several articles that there is a concern that it will be noisy in Malmö in connection with the Eurovision Song Contest on May 7–11. The fear is that safety will not be guaranteed for mainly Israeli participants and Malmö’s Jews.
