Expressen meets Carola Häggkvist, 57, and daughter Zoe on the red carpet in connection with an event for Jesper Blomkvist’s restaurant 450 Gradi on Lidingö. Carola’s choice when it comes to pizza is traditional, she says.

– Nowadays, there are so many varieties with beef fillet, béarnaise and everything possible. But in the old days I always ate a Bussola or is it called La Bussola?, says the artist and reasons a little with himself.

A Bussola is a pizza with ham and prawns.

– I actually ate a pizza the other day. I love banana, pineapple and chicken. It’s called Indiana or something?

The pizza taste is different to say the least. Other well-known profiles have previously told about their favorite, where among others Stefan Löfven said that he prefers Mafioso, with beef fillet, fresh tomato and garlic. While Tomas Brolin prefers pizza with salciccia sausage and Ebba Busch chooses pine nuts and blue cheese instead.

Do you cook pizza at home for the family?

– It happens. Zoe is getting big now. She is in g and will turn fifteen soon. So we actually looked at a small pizza oven the other day just to maybe do something like that at the party. And offer pizza, says Carola and looks at her daughter.

– Yes, I can say that. I’m turning fifteen soon and it’s not so fun. I’m not going to have such a big party at all. So, we’ll just be a small group, a girl’s party, says Zoe herself.

Carola the party fixer is excited and has big plans for the celebration though.

– We plan a sleep over with just the girls and then there will be a party where the boys can join the next day, she says.

– But the most important thing is that we get those crispy ones on the edges of the pizzas. Then, of course, you can add some fresh vegetables on top if you feel like it. When it comes to pizza, you almost want to think backwards, like “what don’t you want?”. Because almost everything works.
