It is in a statement from Buckingham Palace that the court announces that next week the King of Great Britain will resume his public appearances after a period of being treated for cancer.
The first visit will be to a cancer treatment center on Tuesday, where the King and Queen will meet medical specialists and patients.
The visit will be the first of several that King Charles will undertake in the coming weeks.
The King and Queen will also receive the Japanese Emperor and Empress during a state visit in June.

It was at the beginning of February that the news that the king had suffered from cancer came. His doctor then recommended that he postpone his public engagements.
The disease must have been discovered in connection with a doctor’s visit for prostate enlargement, but the court has not stated what kind of cancer it is. It has been suggested that it is not prostate cancer.
The BBC reports that King Charles’ treatment is continuing and that doctors are positive both about the progress he has made so far and his continued recovery.
