Chrockrosa rules the Swedish royal house

We have said it before and now we say it again – with a stronger voice. Shock pink has been seen everywhere this autumn – and above all in the Swedish royal house.

Crown Princess Victoriawho is currently in Kenya for an official visit arranged by the United Nations Development Program UNDP, swapped the much-used bright pink suit for an equally trendy pink dress by the designer Camilla Thulin.

The suit, which has become Victoria’s signature garment – along with the tie blouse – is often in bright colors.

Queen Silvia has otherwise recently been the main proponent of the color – something that suits her very well. Like in October this year when King Carl Gustaf arranged a festive gala dinner at the castle, which was held in honor of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.

Silvia – who increasingly dresses in colorful clothes – made no exception during her recent state visit to Jordan. Silvia’s dress was a real hit and combined a classic pattern with the trendy shade. And the bright pink also had a place during the Dutch state visit in October when Silvia wore a luxurious tweed suit from Chanel.

Princess Sofia was early this year with the trendy color and wore a beautiful pink dress with ruffles and bow detail from Lars Wallin during the awards ceremony at the QX gala together with Prince Carl Philip in April.

Shock pink at the Nobel party

Dare we hope that the shock pink will also take place during the upcoming Nobel party this year? Both Silvia, Victoria and Madeleine have previously worn pink during the big gala evening, and reusing Nobel dresses should be a popular theme among the royal family and other guests this year, given the vintage trend that currently prevails on red carpets and galas in general.
