It was on September 9 that 13-year-old Milo was found dead in a wooded area in Haninge, south of Stockholm, after being reported missing. The prosecutor’s office can now confirm that the boy was shot in the head and that the murder took place within the framework of a gang criminal context.
– There is information, which I cannot go into further due to the confidentiality of the preliminary investigation, which shows that the boy was exposed to the gross and completely reckless gang violence, says preliminary investigation leader Lisa dos Santos.
Further information about the preliminary investigation cannot currently be provided, the Public Prosecutor’s Office states.

Not previously known to the police
According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the boy is not previously known to the police.
– That the murder victim was at such a young age is in itself absolutely terrible and shows another dimension of the merciless brutal violence, preliminary investigation leader Lisa dos Santos has previously said.
The police are now calling for sightings of Milo from the surrounding area at the following places and times:
- In Bagarmossen center on the evening of September 8 between 7 and 9 p.m.
- In the center of Haninge and the surrounding area after 22 and during the night of Saturday 9 September.
The police are also interested in other information about Milo, which may relate to the crime. The police can be contacted on 114 14.
