Finland recently received
a new leader, a president.
His name is Alexander Stubb.
Now he is visiting Sweden.
Sweden is always the first foreign country
as a new president of Finland
visiting.
On Tuesday was Alexander Stubb
on a visit to Stockholm
together with his wife
Suzanne Innes-Stubb.
Alexander Stubb met
among others Sweden’s prime minister
Ulf Kristersson.
They talked about how
Sweden and Finland
must cooperate in the NATO group.
Both countries became
recently joined NATO.
They also talked about
how the countries should help Ukraine
in the war against Russia.
– Sweden and Finland
has a great responsibility.
We are NATO’s border
against Russia, said Stubb.
He thinks that NATO
gets stronger when
Sweden and Finland
became members.
Together, the countries can
make sure there is no war here.
But he thinks people talk
too much about war.
– It can scare the young.
The best way to prevent war
is to talk less about it.
But be prepared for that,
said Alexander Stubb.
The Finnish president
and his wife met
also the King and Queen of Sweden
during his visit to Stockholm.
The visit to Stockholm ended
with a big dinner at the castle
on Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday visit
the Finnish president Gothenburg.
