Two children are suspected of being murdered in Sweden – two adult family members arrested

Two were found lifeless in a home in the Lina hage district in Södertälje on Tuesday evening.

The alarm came to the police shortly before 20:00 Swedish time and large cordons were set up at the scene, an area of ​​terraced houses.

– A technical investigation is currently underway, says Per Fahlströmpress spokesperson at the police.

Two people have been arrested, suspected of murder. It is about a man and a woman. One of them was taken to hospital with injuries that were assessed as serious, according to Region Stockholm’s press service.

According to Expressen, it was a neighbor who called the police.

During the evening and night, the police have been very secretive about the incident, which initially came in as a vehicle and person check. However, it is stated that they are not looking for any additional suspected perpetrators.

The police have interviewed witnesses in the area and technicians have been working on the scene.

– I can’t say anything more right now about either age, gender or what happened. It is enough that two minor children have died, says Per Fahlström.
