County Governor Anna Kinberg Batra is seen by Magdalena Andersson

Magdalena Andersson (S) saw Governor Anna Kinberg Batra’s note in the reception which resulted in a close friend of the Governor getting a job.

The S leader now calls on the prime minister to act.

– It is important that he has the same yardstick for all managers appointed by the government, Andersson says.

The party leader of the Social Democrats, who is also the leader of the opposition, believes that the governor of Stockholm, Anna Kinberg Batra, has acted “without judgement” when she recruited several friends to the authority.

The S-leader takes a serious look at the recruitment of close friend Anna Borgs, who is married to the Moderate party’s deputy party secretary Martin Borgs, in particular.

– To put up a note in the reception and then recruit a friend, it is reckless, says Magdalena Andersson at a meeting with the Riksdag journalists on Tuesday.

When asked what consequences Anna Kinberg Batra’s actions should have, Magdalena Andersson says that it is up to Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) to judge.

– It is important that he has the same yardstick for all managers appointed by the government, regardless of moderate party book or not.

Magdalena Andersson further says that the government has previously fired directors-general with whom it did not sympathize, including at the Migration Agency, the Customs Agency and the Radiation Safety Authority.

The S leader does not demand that Anna Kinberg Batra must resign.

– That is a question for Ulf Kristersson and the government.
