Six students receive prizes for their reading

This year’s reading promoter award The Reading Plow has been awarded for the fourth year. The prize this time was shared between three entries from two schools in Tensta.

The Reading Plow is a reading promotion award for students at Tensta’s municipal primary schools and is awarded by the association Textpiloterna. The aim is to encourage students to use their creativity to contribute to a reading Tensta. Läsplogen 2024 is awarded three grants:

Lynn Ibrahim (Enbacksskolan) who come back year after year with new ways to share their passion for the world of stories and show true reading promoter enthusiasm.

Khadija Hassan Abdi, Aisha Mohamed Hassan, Mojib Sayeedi and Hadi Asghar (Elinsborgsskolan) who have bravely overcome the tingle of nervousness to, as reading role models, create a joyful encounter with books and reading.

Miyase Atay (Enbacksskolan) which, with a wide palette in its reading promotion effort, has been an inventive and persistent primordial force and which at the same time has shown that even those who work alone do well to take help from others.

The jury passed this year by Yonis Egag, family therapist and soccer player, Bengt-Erik Engholm, writer, and Katarina Lycken Rüter, representative of Textpiloterna.
