Persons with weapons arrested outside the district court

Two men with gang connections have been arrested outside the Attunda district court, according to information given to Aftonbladet.

One of the men is said to have been armed and is suspected of having planned to shoot someone in or near the court, Aftonbladet learns.

Two men have been arrested outside Attunda district court in Sollentuna, outside Stockholm during the morning.

Police are said to have observed the men, who reportedly have gang connections, on the street and decided to check them.

A weapon was found on one of the arrested and the men are suspected of having been there to shoot someone, sources say.

According to the same information, the men are suspected of preparation for murder.

Suspect: Felony weapons offense

The police do not want to comment on the information, but confirm that they were on the scene and that two men were arrested with weapons-like objects.

– It will now be investigated by police forensics, says police spokesperson Per Fahlström to TT.

They are both suspected of serious weapons offenses and have been arrested by prosecutors, the police write on their website.
