A lawyer active in Stockholm has been arrested together with a known female criminal, writes Expressen.
Both are suspected of involvement in the extortion scandal surrounding the former stock exchange CEO Joachim Kuylenstierna.
According to Expressen’s information, a lawyer in his 30s and a woman who had a central role in one of Sweden’s most high-profile criminal investigations have been arrested. Both are suspected of attempted gross extortion in the tangle surrounding Joachim Kuylenstierna, according to the newspaper.
The police must have received special permission from the court to search the lawyer’s office in Stockholm, to search for, among other things, computers and telephones.
It was last fall that a police report was made that the founder and then CEO of the property company Fastator, Joachim Kuylenstierna, was exposed to blackmail.
Earlier, two men with connections to the Vårby network have been detained for involvement in the extortion.
