Have you caught someone putting their hand in your pocket or bag without permission? From 2002 until 2023, in any event, roughly 2,700 police reports about pickpocketing have been made in Bromma.

It is as far back in time as the Crime Prevention Council’s, Brå, statistics extend for this crime.

The ‘peak year’ occurred just over ten years ago, in 2013, when 232 reports of pickpocketing were made in the district, more than one pickpocket every other day.

For several years, 2004 to 2006 and 2009 to 2018, the number of reported pickpockets in Bromma was on average just over 150 reports per year. Last year, in 2023, 63 pickpockets were reported, the lowest number of reports in these 21 years.
