British Superdry had a maximum of five stores in Sweden, one of which was a flagship in MoS. Now the last store in Gothenburg is disappearing and thus the chain has left the country.

It was in 2015 that the British fashion chain Superdry announced that they were entering the Swedish market. A total of five stores were established, but the concept never really took off.

During the pandemic, the stores in Mall of Scandinavia, Täby Centrum and Gallerian closed and later the store at Arlanda was also closed.

Now the chain’s last store at Fredsgatan 11 in Gothenburg, in a property owned by Vasakronan, has also had to close down.
