SMHI warns of snow in Stockholm | Sweden

The warning applies to Friday night and morning. The area stretches from Östhammar, past Uppsala and Stockholm and down to Nyköping.

According to SMHI, it is expected to snow during the night to Friday and the morning, and they warn of problems in traffic.

In total, there may be 2-7 centimeters of snow.

– It looks like it’s a precipitation area that moves in overnight, it looks like it’s in the form of sleet, says Per Holmberg, meteorologist at Stormgeo.

– During the night when it is a little colder, there is a risk that it will settle down a bit. It is uncertain how much stops on the roadways, but the risk exists.

During the morning, the snow is expected to change to rain.
