On the night of Friday, a snowfall area moves in over Stockholm. Now SMHI warns of slipping and other messes out on the roads.

A total of 2-7 centimeters of heavy and wet snow is expected during Friday.

The yellow warning applies throughout Stockholm County from 3 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday morning.

It is uncertain how much snow will fall, but there is a risk that motorists who venture out onto the roads will be hit by queues, slippage, slush and poor visibility.

Canceled departures and delays can also occur in air and train traffic.

The snow is expected to change to rain during the morning.
