EMS gets a new dealer in Gothenburg

EMSG Sverige AB, general agent for Takeuchi and Hyundai construction machines in Sweden and Norway, has appointed Bengt Bergs Maskinservice AB as a new dealer for Takeuchi compact excavators in the Gothenburg region.

This is part of our strategic work to develop a strong nationwide and local presence throughout Sweden. With this, EMS hands over responsibility for Takeuchi sales and service for the Gothenburg region to Bengt Bergs Maskinservice.

In recent years, EMS has focused on strengthening our local presence throughout the country. This has resulted in several new dealer collaborations with talented entrepreneurs around the country.

– We see that this strategy has been successful for us, our partners and customers. This step follows our plan to build a strong and unified sales and service structure. For our customers in Gothenburg, this means a strengthening of the product range as Bengt Bergs Maskinservice also offers tool carriers, compact loaders and mini dumpers, products that complement Takeuchi’s broad offer of compact excavators between 1-15 tonnes. The collaboration also gives our customers access to a strong service organization. For existing customers of EMS, the transition will be smooth, as several of EMS’s experienced employees will now be part of Bengt Berg’s competent sales and service team. Long-term growth and strengthening the brand is at the heart of our strategy, says Lennart Edling, CEO of EMSG Sweden AB.

For both EMS and Bengt Bergs Maskinservice, this creates good development potential for the future. EMS and Bengt Bergs Maskinservice have worked with different customer segments in the market and with different products, this creates synergies and an expanded opportunity with a broader product portfolio and a larger customer base.

– Today we work with market-leading brands such as Wille implement carriers, Giant compact loaders and Canycom and Ausa mini dumpers, and we will continue with that. Takeuchi’s mini excavator is a perfect product for us to strengthen the range with, says Bengt Berg, CEO of Bengt Bergs Maskinservice.

The collaboration also strengthens EMS’s product range for operations in Stockholm. EMS will sell Canycom and Ausa mini dumpers, which broadens EMS’s current product range. EMS will continue to be responsible for Hyundai sales in the Gothenburg region, service for Hyundai will take place through Borås Maskin & Konsult AB and Maskinservice i Göteborg AB. Both companies are run by former employees at EMS who have extensive experience in servicing and repairing Hyundai’s construction machinery.
