The young Kumlabon, just turned 18, agreed with three boys to meet near Andrén’s road in Kumla. He had illegally taken one of the boys’ electric scooters and now demanded money to return it.
This happened on February 4 this year. According to the three boys, the 18-year-old pulled out a knife and forced several things from the boys, including a Rolex watch, gold ring, airpods, a branded hoodie, a branded jacket and a necklace. Then he left the scene on the electric scooter.

Imprisonment for three years

When the police were able to arrest the 18-year-old a little later, all the things the boys had been robbed of were found. In addition, the police found the knife used in the robbery.
The 18-year-old himself says that the boys gave up the things voluntarily. This, the district court believes, is an afterthought. Therefore, the 18-year-old young man from Kumla is convicted of three counts of robbery.
He is also sentenced for assaulting a student at Alléskolan in Hallsberg on 6 October last year. He hit the other one twice on the head.
The district court sentences the 18-year-old to prison for three years. He must also pay SEK 25,000 each in damages to the three boys he robbed, a total of SEK 75,000.
