Now those who live in the Nordic region’s tallest building, which is also the EU’s tallest residential building, are offered an exclusive on-demand service – for their car tyres. A service that will be exclusive to the residents of Karlatornet.
— It’s tire service in a way that no one else has done it before, says Peter Malmsten at Däckskiftarna in Gothenburg.
The concept “On Demand Service by Däckskiftarna” will be available to everyone who moves into Gothenburg’s new landmark, Karlatornet. In the property’s own app, car owners can thus order tire service directly to the home without having to visit a tire station themselves, they say in a press release.
— The only thing you need to do is leave the car keys at Karlatornet’s reception. Then we at Däckskiftarna take care of the rest. One of our couriers collects the car and is back with the service performed within an hour. We also pick up the wheels free of charge from where they are stored, says Peter Malmsten, franchisee of Däckskiftarna with eleven stations in Gothenburg.
With its 73 floors, the Karlatornet is the tallest building in the Nordic region and is located in the currently emerging district of Karlastaden on Lindholmen in Gothenburg. Here, the Tire Changers become part of providing the residents with the service they deserve. The offer is a collaboration between Däckskiftarna and Care of Serneke, Serneke’s real estate service company.

The plan: The concept will spread
According to Däckskiftarna, they are the industry’s leading player in Gothenburg. Peter Malmsten expects to be able to spread Däckskiftarna’s new on demand service to other parts of the city within a year.
— We are a service company available 365 days a year. And with our tire hotels, we keep track of our customers’ tires and when they need to be replaced. With On Demand Service by Däckskiftarna, we develop our offer further. If we usually say: We are and can be seen everywhere, says Peter Malmsten.
