Hela Sverige Ska Leva Dalarna invites you to the annual conference on April 28 in Vikarbyns Bystuga from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The theme for the day is: How can we live well in Dalarna’s rural areas tomorrow and for future generations? What must we do – what can we do and what do we want to do?
During the day, we will listen to Kåre Olsson from Skattungbyn, with long experience in local development work and his view on the situation in Dalarna and in our rural areas today. Ulrica Persson Coompanion Dalarna and Peter Möller Region Dalarna will give us a picture of the demographic situation and what consequences it has for, among other things, the labor market, welfare and community services in the rural areas of the county.
We will listen to suggestions and input on what role we as local actors, responsible citizens and active associations can play in this major social transformation that we are facing.
Some of the questions that will color the day are the following:
1. We can identify major societal challenges ahead. Do you think that societal reorganization, as Kåre describes it, can be the right way to go?
2. In what way do we need to approach the public education actors to start this up?
3. Is it interesting for Dalarna – All of Sweden Dalarna and which other players?
4. How do we get started, the next step?
We look forward to meeting many locally engaged rural residents from different places in Dalarna. During the day, Hela Sweden Ska Leva Dalarna offers lunch and coffee. The day ends with customary annual meeting negotiations.
