Job description
Do you want to lead and develop the work with local supply at the border police unit in Police Region Stockholm?
We are looking for a driven and experienced premises supply coordinator with the task of ensuring that the border police unit has suitable premises in the short and long term. The Border Police Unit is a regional unit in Police Region Stockholm. The unit consists of approximately 500 employees. Together, the unit works with i.a. border control, internal alien controls and enforcement of decisions on rejection and expulsion.
We are looking for a driven and solution-focused premises supply coordinator who has the interest and ability to switch between strategic and operational perspectives so that the business’ needs for suitable premises are met in the short and long term. We are in a strong growth journey and local supply work is an important strategic issue in this journey where the right person can make a big difference to the business. The unit has premises in Kungsholmen, Arlanda and Frihamnen.
You will belong to a group at the border police unit’s office whose mission is to coordinate and coordinate various unit-wide issues, lead development assignments, support decision-making and hold together the strategic management and follow-up for the unit. You will work together with colleagues who have broad and deep knowledge in areas such as border management, governance, follow-up, IT, crisis preparedness and change management.
Job description
The tasks are mainly the following, but other tasks may be added depending on your profile:
- Develop and drive the border police unit’s long-term strategic local supply orientation/needs
- Prepare written decision documents and prioritize questions for unit management
- Handled consultations, sharing and referrals
- Lead the Border Police Unit’s various local forums
- Answer local questions and act as an advisor to the business
- Coordinate and project manage the border police unit’s local needs based on the requirements of the business
- Ensure that the premises are suitable for operations
- Work to ensure that legislation and work environment requirements are met in the local population, in consultation and with support from the business
- Participate in steering groups for larger local projects and in project groups for smaller and larger conversions/local adaptations
- You will also lead and participate in various development assignments linked to the area of responsibility in collaboration with others within the unit and within the police region
Within the framework of the assignment, there is also the opportunity to broaden one’s competence within one or more of the areas of responsibility that lie within the business’s mission.
In summary, you contribute to leading and developing the operations of the border police unit, in other words, it is a developing role with the opportunity to make a big difference to the operations of the border police unit. You will start from our office on Kungsholmen in Stockholm. Travel is included in the work, mainly within the Stockholm region.
Qualifications
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- Academic degree in the field or another degree that the employer deems relevant
- Several years of work experience in a similar role
- Experience in work management or project management
- Driven and structured and has very good administrative skills
- Experience of analytical work, understanding connections and clarifying complex issues
- Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
- Swedish citizenship
It is advantageous if you also have:
- Experience of working with local issues within public activities
- Knowledge of protected objects
- Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOA)
