Threads now has 150 million monthly users

Meta’s latest social network Threads now has 150 million monthly users, something announced by Mark Zuckerberg during an earnings report. The Twitter-like service gained a hundred million users in just four days last summer, but many of those who tried Threads in the beginning did not stick around.

Only last October, Threads reached 100 million monthly users again, so the service has gained 50 million new users in about six months. How many daily user Threads have, however, we do not know. Threads only became available in Europe and Sweden at the end of last year. Users can log in with existing Instagram accounts and is a direct challenger to X (formerly Twitter).
