Big step forward for procurement in SKR Insikt

In the survey, the municipality takes big steps forward regarding satisfaction in the area of ​​procurement, (NUI) from 59 to 68. In procurement, you can see an increase in all six measurement areas, which are information, accessibility, treatment, competence, legal certainty and efficiency.

– We have taken note of the views we received from the suppliers and worked with what we judged to have the best effect. I have also presented the results to all relevant management groups and we have together talked about how we can use the measurement in our improvement work, says Marlene Sahibzada, head of procurement, Härryda municipality.

Generally speaking, the businesses in the municipality are satisfied and Härryda municipality is at a high level in most areas. The area of ​​environmental and health protection rises further from a high level of 71 to now 75. The areas of land grant, building permit and food lose somewhat from the previous year and it is the same trend in Gothenburg. The municipality works continuously to improve service in all areas to make it easier for companies and create a good business climate.

– It is very gratifying to see that our companies in the municipality are increasingly satisfied with our service, including in procurement. It shows that the improvement work is yielding results. We receive the highest marks from our companies when it comes to attitude, treatment, commitment and competence. We are not satisfied, but aim further to work further with our processes, information and routines, says Helena Alterby Nordström, head of business in Härryda municipality.

SKR Insight

SKR (Swedish Municipalities and Regions) Insight is a service measurement of the municipalities’ exercise of authority. Primarily, the service is measured for the group of entrepreneurs. 213 out of 290 municipalities participated in the 2023 survey.

The survey is conducted among entrepreneurs who have had a case within one or more authority areas. These areas are fire protection, building permits, land licensing, environmental and health protection, food control, service permits and procurement. In a survey, the entrepreneurs can answer questions about the municipalities’ service in terms of information, accessibility, treatment, competence, legal certainty and efficiency.
