SEK 650,000

“The man has ensured that a certain contractor was regularly commissioned to paint and renovate schools from Academedia. In exchange, he received money and American Express invoices paid, equivalent to SEK 650,000,” the newspaper writes.

In a chat, which was also used as evidence, the Academedia manager and an entrepreneur had discussed the settlement with the words “make some money”.

The two involved are sentenced to a suspended sentence and community service. According to Aftonbladet, it is equivalent to eleven months in prison if it is chosen as a penalty.

Acadmedia’s share has declined this year as well as over a three-year period on the stock exchange. On May 3, the company will present its next report. Then we’ll see if the quarterly figures can cheer up the school group’s true owners all the more.
