True Finns’ Timo Vornanen is suspected of a shooting outside a nightclub in Helsinki, Finnish media write.
Now the member of parliament has been arrested, reports Iltalehti.

On the night of Friday, the police were alerted to a shooting outside the Ihku karaoke bar in central Helsinki, reports Iltalehti.
According to the newspaper, Sannfinländer’s Timo Vornanen was arrested at four o’clock on suspicion of firing a gun when he left the club.
Vornanen, who otherwise works as a civil police officer, is also suspected of serious assault.
The party confirms to Iltalehti that Vornanen is suspected of having been involved in a shooting during the night.
– The sequence of events is currently unclear. The police are investigating what happened and we are waiting for more information. We will inform as soon as we know more, says party secretary Harri Vuorenpää.
True Finns party leader Riikka Purra calls the information “very serious”:
– I am very shocked by this situation. I am waiting for more information myself. We have not reached the representative himself. The situation is very serious, says Purra to MTV Uutiset.
Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and President Alexander Stubb have been informed of the incident.
