Rangers’ Swedish star Mika Zibanejad accounted for two assists in the night’s encounter, which ended 3–1.

Zibanejad paid tribute to goalkeeper Igor Sjestiorkin who made 28 saves in the Rangers box.

“To see him play the way he did tonight was huge for us,” Zibanejad said after the game.

The Rangers lead the best-of-seven series against Washington 3-0. The fourth and possibly decisive meeting takes place on the night of Monday Swedish time.

Vancouver’s Elias Pettersson was credited with an assist as Nashville was defeated 2–1 in the third round of 16.

Vancouver thus leads the match series with 2–1.
