The tours around Calle Johansson continue.

The centre-back is on loan from IFK Gothenburg to Randers and the other day the Danish club announced that they will not buy the 28-year-old.

– We have done everything we can to keep Carl, who has performed really well since he came here. We have tried to make the agreement permanent from the beginning, but Carl wanted to see how it developed over time. Since then, other clubs have entered the hunt who have been able to offer a sporting and financial package that we cannot match, sporting director Søren Pedersen told the club’s website and continued:

– Carl has been really happy to be at the club, but it is also understandable that he is making this choice at this stage of his career. Unfortunately, we have not been able to do anything and we are sorry for the outcome, but now we have time to find another player for next season.

The loan agreement with IFK Gothenburg extends until June 30.

But there does not seem to be any return to Blåvitt on a permanent basis for the former Falkenbergs FF and Helsingborgs IF defender.

According to fotboldirekt.se, the 2. Bundesliga club Holstein Kiel buys Johansson. The team is in ninth place in the German second division.

Johansson’s contract with IFK Göteborg extends over this season.
