Reideborn leaves KHL – moves to Switzerland: “Fantastic goalkeeper”

--

After four seasons in the KHL, Adam Reideborn is now leaving.
Now games await in Switzerland instead.
– We are happy that we managed to make this transition, says Bern’s sporting director Andrew Ebbett on the club’s website.

In July 2021, Adam Reideborn was presented by CSKA Moscow and has since remained at the club, which means that he was one of seven Swedish players who played in the KHL during the past season. But now it is clear that the goalkeeper is leaving both team and league behind.

The contract with CSKA expired after the recently concluded season and there have since been various rumors regarding the 31-year-old’s future, where both a continuation in the KHL as well as a move to a new country have been on the table.

And now it is clear where Reideborn will play in the future. On Thursday, he was presented by Bern in Switzerland, where he signed a contract over the next two seasons.

– Adam Reideborn is a fantastic goalkeeper with a lot of experience. He knows what it takes to win. We are happy that we managed to make this transition, says Bern’s sporting director Andrew Ebbett on the club’s website.
