Elias Ymer’s bang – ready for the French Open in 2023

Hanfmann, ranked 64th in the world, was a clear favorite before the match, not least after reaching the quarter-finals of the Rome ATP tournament as recently as last week.

Elias Ymer has played the French Championships twice before. In 2015, he went out in the first round and most recently, in 2018, he reached the second round.

Younger brother Mikael Ymer is directly qualified for the main tournament. He faces 17th-seeded Italian Lorenzo Musetti in the first round.
