Since the 2020-2021 season, Nike has been supplying Liverpool’s kit. The American company is said to pay around 50 million pounds (approximately 670 million kroner) annually to the Merseyside team, which can be compared to Manchester United who are reported to receive around 90 million pounds (around 1.2 billion kroner) per year from Adidas.

Sport Business states that Liverpool is about to change shirt suppliers from the 2025-2026 season and that it is Adidas that has won the bid. Both Nike and Puma are said to have also shown interest in distributing pitches to Liverpool.

The information states that Adidas will sign a contract that extends over five seasons with Liverpool. The deal is said to be better than Liverpool’s current one with Nike, but worth slightly less than Manchester United’s with Adidas.
