Florida’s goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky excelled when he stopped a shot with his face mask, which in itself is odd. Even crazier was the save he made in the second period using the top of his glove.

Bobrovsky ended up completely backwards to the right of the goal, with his back to the ice, and blindly lunged left, managing to stop the shot as Tampa Bay’s Matt Dumba thought would get into what just now was an empty box.

Tampa Bay’s goal in regulation time was scored by Braden Point and Steven Stamkos.

Florida’s scorers were Sam Bennett and Vladimir Tarasenko and in the extension the decisive goal was scored Carter Verhaeghe after barely three minutes. Anton Lundell was responsible for the preparations for the winning goal.

Florida leads the best-of-seven series against Tampa Bay 2-0.

The New York Rangers also lead the match series against the Washington Capitals with 2-0 after 4-3 in Madison Square Garden last time.

Colorado equalized to 1-1 against Winnipeg when the team won with a clear 5-2 on the road. Two assists for Artturi Lehkonen.

Nashville won 4-1 over Vancouver on the road and evened the series at 1-1. Juuse Saros took seventeen of eighteen pucks between the Predators’ posts.
