– It is absolutely incredible. There has been a lot of information to take in, while so little has come out. It sent shock waves in the jumping world, says the Norwegian back jumper Halvor Egner Granerud to NRK.

For a year, the slope has been built up – under great secrecy. Ryoyu Kobayashi is the one who, with several hopes, got to try the hill.

– We have just witnessed a rather incredible story. There will always be one before and one after Ryoyo’s world record,” says another Norwegian ski jumper, Johann André Forfang, to NRK.
