WILL THERE BE A WORLD RECORD IN THE SC FINAL?

The SC finals are played at Friends Arena and the goal is to break the world record for the number of spectators. The previous record is 18,166 from the men’s final at Tele2 2Arena 016 between Storvreta and Linköping.

Emelie Wibron, forward, Team Thorengruppen:

SSL’s scoring queen with 83 points in 26 games (43 goals and 40 assists). Key player in the national team and named player of the year last season. Can take his fourth straight SM gold with Thoren.

Lara Heini, goalkeeper, Pixbo IBK:

Swiss national team goalkeeper who is considered by many to be the world’s best floorball goalkeeper. Makes his fourth season in the Gothenburg club and also makes his fourth straight SC final. So far no gold. Is it time now?

Gabriel Kohonen, forward, Storvreta IBK:

The surname commands respect in the floorball world. The son of Finnish icon Mika Kohonen has taken over the big floorball scene. Recently named Rookie of the Year in SSL and is Storvreta’s best scorer this season.

Oskar Weissbach, Pixbo IBK:

Poängkung in the playoffs with 21 points in ten games (6+15) and four in the SSL scoring league this season. The 23-year-old has also recently been selected for the national team. Will be important if Pixbo is to win its first gold since 2003.
