Lisah Samuelsson, Camilla Granelid, Johannes Gustafsson, Henrik Quist and Michael Östlund are elected to the floorball Hall of Fame for their outstanding contributions to the sport.

Since 2016, the Swedish Floorball Hall of Fame exists to pay tribute to people who have made extraordinary contributions in the history of Swedish floorball.

Players, leaders, referees and other officials in our sport can be selected here. The selection takes place once a year. How many and who are elected is determined by the board.

Camilla Granelid was the center who never seemed to put the club on the shelf. Player of the year in 2003 who also won the historic first world championship on the women’s side in 1997. With 79 international matches and over 15 seasons in the highest league, Camilla Granelid was one of those who paved the way for floorball in the sport’s infancy. Now Camilla Granelid is elected to the Hall of Fame.

Johannes Gustafsson is the signature of the humble star. By being the world’s best centre, he became a leading cog in both club teams and national teams. His career’s three SM golds, 66 international matches and four WC golds show that he is in a special class. Now Johannes Gustafsson is elected to the Hall of Fame.

Lisah Samuelsson flew forward when she was the absolute best defender in the world. In the second half of the 21st century, no one could stop her. With three WC golds, an appointment in the All Star Team and two SM golds, she showed how much capacity there was. A player who dared to take his own path and always listened to his gut feeling. Now Lisah Samuelsson is elected to the Hall of Fame.

Henrik Quist was the ball-safe defender who rarely made a bad decision on the field. When Pixbo yearned for success the most, Henrik Quist was most involved in bringing the association to the first SM gold on the men’s side. With 75 international matches, Henrik Quist was a mainstay in both club and national teams. Now Henrik Quist is elected to the Hall of Fame.

Michael Östlund and his pursuit of scoring was something outstanding. If there was a performance goal to fulfill, he did it – and then some. One of Sweden’s first world stars who crowned his career with four SM golds and three WC golds. At the age of 52, Michael Östlund died last year. Now he is posthumously elected to the Hall of Fame.
