At the beginning of the week, Modo finished with Lukas Jasek.

During a sponsor meeting on Thursday, the Modo management is said to have said that they are close or even in agreement with a new center.

According to what Expressen learns from several consistent sources, it is about the Dane Alexander True, who is currently playing for the Charlotte Checkers in the AHL.

Has been playing in North America since 2014

Alexander True has been playing in North America for the past ten years.

Already in 2014, when he was 17 years old, he transferred to play in the Canadian junior league.

He then joined the San José Sharks organization, making his NHL debut in the 2019-2020 season.

In total, he has played 27 NHL games. It’s mostly been AHL play over the years and this season he’s been in Charlotte. The Charlotte Checkers are the Florida Panthers’ AHL team and during the season, Florida has had a very tough competitive situation on the forward side, which made it difficult for True’s NHL chances.

The 196-centimeter-tall Dane is now in agreement with Modo and will take one of the top center positions in the team next season, according to what Expressen learns.
