Ice hockey: Jonas Andersson on the kick goal: “It’s even pretty”

Skellefteå won the third SC final against Rögle 3-2 away and now leads 2-1 in matches.

The guests’ first goal was scored by Pär Lindholm with skates. SVT Sports experts think it is absolutely right that it was approved.

– The rule is very clear. It is a kick if it is a pendulum motion from the knee bend. Here he angles the skates, but you have to do that. It’s even nicely done by Lindholm, says Jonas Andersson.

– Honestly, it’s even harder to score with a kick than with the stick. Perhaps even more goals scored with skates would be allowed. It’s a neat goal, adds Håkan Loob.
