When Heerenveen faced PSV in the league game on Thursday, they did it with two Swedes in the starting eleven; Patrik Wålemark and Simon Olsson. Olsson had to step off already in the break – and Wålemark stayed until there was a quarter of an hour left.

And it would be strange if home coach Kees van Wonderen didn’t try to come up with something to stop the bleeding. The home team was completely humiliated – and eventually lost by a whopping 8-0. The guests’ Guus Til and Malik Tillman accounted for two goals each for the guests, who are now storming towards the league title in the Netherlands.

Heerenveen, on the other hand, is in the realm of the middle and after 31 games played, the team is in tenth place.

The national team midfielder Olsson has this season been given to the club team and has been on the pitch in all matches. Wålemark, on the other hand, is on loan from Feyenoord and has also received plenty of playing time.
