Since he stepped in as head coach in Färjestad, Tomas Mitell has had assistant coaches Thomas “Totto” Rhodin and Pelle Prestberg by his side. On the goalkeeper side, coach Maciej “Masken” Szwoch has also been present.
For next season, they choose to make a change and Pelle Prestberg will not remain as assistant coach.
– Pelle has been both a highly valued coach and player in this association for a long time, so it is an extremely tough decision to make. But after thoroughly evaluating the season, we felt that we need to bring in some new ideas and change the dynamics of our coaching staff. We need to find new ways and ways of working to maximize our material and will now look for a complement to the remaining trainers. We also want to thank Pelle for all the years in various positions in the association and wish him luck in the future, says Rickard Wallin to the club’s website.
Prestberg had a contract with Karlstadklubben also over the 2024/25 season, just like Tomas Mitell, Thomas “Totto” Rhodin and Maciej “Masken” Szwoch have.
