Tennis player Corentin Moutet was not allowed to go get coffee during his match at the Miami Open.
Then the Frenchman got angry with the referee.
– Are you doing nothing for the players, questioned Moutet.
The match in the first round of the Miami Open between Corentin Moutet and Juncheng Shang was a long one. In total, it took three hours and 37 minutes before Shang was finally victorious.
During the match, Corentin Moutet asked referee Raluca Andrei for coffee, but he was refused. Something that created great anger in the Frenchman.
– I saw on Tennis TV that they offer coffee. Why can’t you give me coffee? Is it because I’m on track four? Tell me, said Corentin Moutet.
– It doesn’t matter where we play, we don’t offer coffee, answered Andrei.

“Do I ask for caviar”
Moutet was not satisfied with the answer, but became even more agitated.
– But why don’t you provide coffee? You have bananas, you offer coke. Am I asking for caviar or something?
Raluca Andrei stuck to his decision and the game was restarted. Despite not being allowed to collect coffee on his own, the 88th-ranked Frenchman would eventually get what he wanted. That after he received a cup from a supporter who was watching the match.
Meet Spaniards
Moutet finally lost after the numbers 7–6, 2–6, 6–7. The tournament is part of the ATP tour and is played at the Caja Mágica arena. Juncheng Shang next plays against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina on Friday.
