Chasing the dream weight in vain
The new study published on Monday shows that all the hard work that many people put in to reach that dream weight may be for nothing. The more weight a person loses, the stronger the appetite, which counteracts the results for many.
For most of the participants in the study, the appetite returned after around twelve months after the calorie intake had been significantly reduced.
It then became apparent to the participants that their bodies were urging them to eat more. A feeling that had not existed at the beginning of the diets, when the calories were constantly reduced.
Kevin Hall states that there are some important points with the study, the most important of which is that one should not rely on different types of diets, writes CNN Health.
“People still experience an increased appetite, the more weight they lose,” he says.
Better change the diet
For those who think that weight loss is something that happens in a few months, or years for that matter, may have to think again. Instead, it is about completely changing the diet.
“The whole point is that whatever you’re doing, you have to keep doing it. Otherwise, you won’t see the benefits.”
