A new study has found connections between just humor and psychopathy, narcissism and Machiavellianism – the personality traits known as “the dark triad”.
– Humor is a form of communication and can reveal a lot about who you are, says Sophie L. Kjærvik, doctoral student in psychology at Ohio State University.
Here are the humor styles to watch out for – and then stay away from.
There are personality traits that are more dangerous than others. Those considered to be the most dangerous are psychopathy, narcissism and Machiavellianism – in psychology called “the dark triad”. These are people you don’t want around you. They are emotional, self-righteous, power-hungry, manipulative and empathetic.
A new study now shows that you can reveal these dark personalities based on their humor.
