Peruvian police have seized a load of cocaine in strange packaging. In pictures that the police published on Thursday, you can see that the narcotics are in 50 packages, as big as bricks, all decorated with the swastika, the symbol of Nazi Germany.

In addition, Hitler is printed in relief on at least some of the drugs. In total, the load amounts to 58 kilos.

Among other things, the news agency AFP reports on the find that was made in a shipping container with a load of asparagus.

According to AFP, the drug was on its way to Belgium in a ship sailing under the Liberian flag. The seizure took place in a port near the border with Ecuador. The ship came from Guayaquil in Ecuador, which is described as a major port city for drug smuggling to the US and Europe.

Belgium, and above all the port of Antwerp, is in turn one of the main gateways for narcotics.

It is unclear if anyone has been arrested in Peru because of the cargo. According to AFP, authorities in Peru seized a total of 22 tons of cocaine last year.
