Ebrahim Raisi is currently on a state visit to Pakistan aimed at strengthening the neighboring countries’ political and economic ties.
On Tuesday, he gave a speech to students in the city of Punjabi and then commented on the conflict with Israel.
– If the Zionist regime (Iran’s name for Israel) once again makes a mistake and attacks the holy land of Iran, the situation will be different, and it is unclear if anything will remain of this regime, he told the students, according to IRNA.
Raisi also praised the robot and drone attack against Israel on the night of April 14. An attack that was an act of revenge for the warplane strike that leveled the Iranian consulate in Damascus on April 1.
Bedouin girl was seriously injured in Iran’s attack
In the attack on the consulate, two generals of the Revolutionary Guard and several other members of the Guard are reported to have been among a dozen casualties.
During Iran’s attack on Israel, a seven-year-old Bedouin girl was seriously injured by shrapnel from one of Iran’s downed projectiles. Two Israeli airbases are said to have also been hit by ballistic missiles.
The Israeli Defense Forces claim that 99 percent of the robots are shot down by themselves and allied countries.
On April 19, Israel carried out a drone strike against military targets in the Iranian region of Esfahan.
– What happened yesterday was not an attack. It was more like toys our children play with – not drones, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian told NBC News the day after the attack.
During the speech in Pakistan, Raisi also took the opportunity to give a boot to the West, which he accuses of hypocrisy regarding Israel’s war against terror-classified Hamas in Gaza.
– Today, the biggest criminals against human rights are the Americans and the Westerners, and their claims of defending human rights are also empty, Raisi said, IRNA reports.
