The emergency services were alerted around 03.27 on the night of Thursday regarding the fire outside Gnesta and even then it was too late to be able to save the building.
– It was already fully developed at the first alarm call, there was no possibility of rescue, says Ludvig Taylor at the rescue service in Södertörn.
There are no reports of any injuries and no animals should have been in the building when the fire started, according to the fire service.
– It is not a task that I have in any case, says Ludvig Taylor.
Early Thursday morning, the barn is still burning and the emergency services will let it burn down.
